Children’s Version of a Flower Fairy

My Cousin, Sherie, called today looking for some kids craft ideas. Her boyscout class would like to  make gifts for the Children who will be at the hospital over Christmas.

She wanted to know if the flower fairies would be something that a 5-6 year old boy could make for the girls at the hospital.  I’ve created this post to show how flower fairies can be simplified for young children.

The “simple” way takes a quarter of the time as the wrapped fairies and makes it easier for young children.

Add a necklace for the sweet gals to carry their new friends!

For the boys gifts… these felt balls would be very fun… I have not tried it yet but I think we will very soon!!!
