Valentine Love Bug

Last weekend I took Brianna to an art class for 4-5 year olds.  It was amazing to watch the man in charge keep the kids on track.  He had to keep reminding the little people to make one line and STOP.  Haha!  Most kids this age are just excited to see the results:-)

I did this type of project with Brianna today.  I told her we have one pink bag and paint that does not come off…

We used a 50 cent fabric bag and I added a love bug for Valentines Day.  I drew the circles and legs with fabric paint markers.  Then I gave her one color of paint at a time and a piece of practice paper.  First she did the red paint, then the black dots… O man… those took a lot slowing down:-)  It’s hard to make small dots with a paint brush… haha!  Then she did the grass and the sun.  The sun was funny too… I had to show her how there was so little space for the rays and that they were going to need to start small, so they didn’t hit the bug…

We had fun!
