Wheat Grass is so pretty to grow and will really help us start spring inside our house:-)

The pot idea was inspired by Teaching-Tiny-Tots.com.  There you can find the pattern for the ears too.   Did I mention how much we love that site:-)

We used a 2.5 inch pot but ours is a  little taller, so the wheat grass has room for roots. Leave an area of almost one-inch from the top, so the grass has room to grow.

  • Click here if you don’t recall how pretty wheat grass is!  Once the seeds are planted you must keep the seeds most until they sprout.  We add a damp paper towel over ours and try to moisten 3x a day with a water bottle… more if we are home.

TIP: You will want to fill with dirt right before you glue on the bunny head and arms. This will simply help to keep the white foam clean.

This is the perfect size project for Brianna (age 4 3/4).

  1. What a cute idea! My girls love to plant so we may have to try that. The girls are studying plants in school right now so it’s the perfect time. Thanks for sharing your idea with us. 🙂

    • Thank you ! It’s Alteady sprutting! If you need seeds let me know. I have a lot and can send for free.
